What to Expect
You can expect to find from scratch dessert recipes with real butter, cream, and fresh ingredients. We may occasionally use convenience items to take some of the stress out of very advanced recipes (say hello to frozen puff pastry).
You can find everything from Brownies to elegant desserts for special occasions.

About Pat
With seven decades of cooking and baking experience under her belt, Pat is an expert in the kitchen. She is primarily a self-taught chef and honed her skills through formal and informal training. She started cooking as a teenager when she and her sister were responsible for preparing dinner after school.
Pat is an avid recipe collector and loves the adventure of trying out new dishes and techniques. She often combines global flavors with local ingredients to create unique recipes.
Pat says the best part of being in the kitchen is spending time with family and friends and sharing meals and stories. Her home is always filled with the delicious smells of home cooking.
As important as food and family is to Pat, her faith is the foundation of her life. It is more than a religion but a relationship with Jesus Christ.
About Dahn
Dahn learned to cook and bake by helping her mom in the kitchen. She has gained over four decades of experience in the kitchen and spent time working in a bakery during high school and college. Like her mom, she loves taking culinary courses and reading books about the science behind cooking and baking.
As a retired cardiac nurse, she understands the importance of nutrition and incorporates healthy ingredients into her dishes. But she also understands the importance of finding balance in life and believes that moderation is key when it comes to enjoying sweet treats or indulgent meals.
She believes that cooking is not only a way to nourish your body, but it’s also a way to connect with family, friends, and the community. For Dahn, food brings people together and creates lasting memories.
Like her mother, Dahn’s faith is central to her life, and Jesus is her source of strength, joy, and peace.
